Yellowstone River Farms is a 500+/- acre farm nestled along the Yellowstone River near Terry in eastern Montana. Our way of life is deeply rooted in family, hard work and respect for the land. We are third generation farmers and we believe in organic farming practices for the crops we grow and the livestock we raise. We believe that healthy soil leads to balance and this is the key to the future of agriculture. Healthy soil leads to healthy food-- for us and for our livestock. Despite the long hours and the unpredictability of Montana’s weather and raising crops and livestock in this environment, we find fulfillment in the rhythms of nature and the satisfaction of feeding our Montana community.
